Start with the identifier and alternate names
The list returns id, name, and alternate_names. For Harry Potter, alternate_names includes labels such as The Boy Who Lived and The Chosen One. id is the safest key for distinguishing entries; alternate names help searching, but do not replace the displayed name or prove that a term appears the same way in every work or translation.
- Use id when you need to relate an entry to an individual lookup or another list.
- An empty alternate_names list only means the source supplied no alternate names for that entry.
Traits describe the entry, not a complete portrait

Wand, performer, and image refer to different things
wand can include wood, core, and length; in the example, holly, phoenix tail feather, and 11. actor refers to the listed performer, while alternate_actors can contain other associations. image is an image URL supplied by the source. None of these fields confirms the shown edition, image origin, reuse permission, or that a cast member remains attached to a production.
