Use the identifier to separate versions, sequels, and similar titles
The query returns Page, pageInfo, and a media list. An item can include id, title in romaji, English, and its native language, format, status, episodes, averageScore, genres, isAdult, and siteUrl. Compare id, title variants, and format before choosing a work: English, romaji, and native titles can refer to the same production, while a season, film, or special can have its own record. averageScore is an average of AniList user ratings, not an editorial review; episodes can be empty while a count is unconfirmed. status and siteUrl help follow the record, but streaming availability and local age classification require checking the relevant service or authority.
- Use pageInfo and hasNextPage to continue a search instead of treating the first page as complete.
