The image and page have different roles
The route returns image, the visual file URL, and link, a related page. In one response, image pointed to /images/11.jpg and link to /?i=11. Open link when you need the associated page; do not treat the URL number as a date, scientific identification, or licence code.
- Each new call can return another image/link pair; do not expect repetition or catalogue order.
- Use image for temporary display; before downloading or embedding, consult the page and applicable conditions.
A photo does not replace wildlife information
The response does not provide species, location, date, behaviour, credit, or licence. Even when an image looks like a fox, it cannot confirm which species appears, where it was recorded, or how it may be used.
