A record helps exploration, not official confirmation

The /character route accepts filters such as name and pageSize. Its response contains info with count, totalPages, previousPage, and nextPage; data can be a list or, with a filter, one character. A record may include _id, name, imageUrl, url, films, shortFilms, tvShows, videoGames, parkAttractions, allies, and enemies. Use _id and url to distinguish similar names and follow nextPage when more results exist. A listed work, game, or attraction does not confirm release, appearance, regional availability, chronology, credit, ownership, or licence. Documentation says the catalogue is read-only and needs no authentication; it is fan-made and trademarks and characters belong to their respective owners.

pageSize sets items per page; check count and totalPages before deciding a search has ended.
Do not treat imageUrl as reuse permission; confirm any publication against the appropriate source and licence.
